Project Description:

The deployment and maintenance of CAT 6A, Multi Core, Wi-Fi infrastructure and Multimode/Single Mode Fibre on campus that was been refurbished. It also included the testing and commissioning of the various network systems, with all test results to be submitted to Main contractor. Full compliance to the HSE standards and Health & Safety and welfare at work act – 2005. We work in live and project environments. Also, both Acute and Community hospitals.

Project Responsibilities:

The wired infrastructure was fully project managed control by Surecom, with PSDP, PSCS, PICW

 

Responsibilities:

 

Role PSDP

• Solution Technical Design of Wi-Fi, DAS, BMS, TV, IoT, Data, Fiber, AV, Telephony, Conference

• Solution Site design, including DC power, UPS and Resilience

• Communications Room Design including Aircon

 

Role PSCS

• Responsibilities: (BOM logistics-onsite), Main Contractor liaison and communication– site in construction phase, H&S compliance supporting site main contractor rules and co-operation to allow for working alongside other companies on site, Sample installation of the cable and agree methodology.

• Installation of solution to the design specifications (Cable [CAT6A], Multicore & Fibre), Inclusive of “as build” handover.

• Commissioning – Cable testing (AFL & fibre), commissioning & optimisation, handover documents and test results.

• Project management – Daily & weekly on-site meeting, weekly & monthly checkpoint & highlight reporting-6.

• Liaison with the design team, Electrical contractor and HSE ICT team.
